Table has been updated, and I am shockingly surprised by the Rank VII upgrades for the Elson Demi and Zakana and the Team Vigor buffs. No doubt this will vastly change the arena landscape - should they remain this way.
*For an arguably cheap price of 50k, you can have the upgrade gods bless a support turret into a destructive, unstoppable machine that forgot if its old self ever existed at all. I am, of course, talking about the new Zakana G here. Packing the same fire rate as its predecessor, its damage is slightly increased to about
5 3.5 times the original damage (from 8.3 to 41.9 30.8), while its new range of 70 makes all but the Valerion and Assassin cry in neglect (Range is now 60, which still out-ranges most other units, but now Grand Blasters and Lightbringers can hit it outside its range - though not by much). Since Zakana G retains its shield-breaking ability and Team Vigor, I'm pretty sure the only hard counter to them is to not play at all. *Edit: Zakana G got nerfed to reasonable levels, although it's still much better than the Galaxy Turret in most aspects.
*Elson Demi. This mine-layer received amplifier upgrades, which grants it vastly greater power for a few gold. However, the mine demigod isn't satisfied with just that. Pay it even more gold at Rank VII, and it transcends into the mighty Elson Tera. Boasting a whopping total damage of 447.2, the projectiles of the mine god also gain a slight homing ability to chase down
mere mortals enemies, increasing its otherwise terrible accuracy. Combined with its shield-piercing and slowing abilities, it finally has a place in the game, both PvE and PvP.
*If these upgrades aren't impressive enough already, then the buff to Team Vigor should be. Increased from 13% to 23%, Team Vigor will now nearly double the damage of a non-amplifier turret with just four of these buffs. Although the new Zakana G and Elson Tera suffer from diminishing returns (since amplifiers stack additively with Team Vigor), they can still benefit greatly from Team Vigor being stacked. Thus, stacking Zakana G's and/or Scorpions will end up being the best way to increase overall base offense.
In all, these, as well as the usual Korazons and Nyons, will pretty much ensure that no arena base leaves unscathed.
